Storm in the O.C.

They claim it's the biggest Irish fair in the West. And while everyone loves sheep herding demonstrations, leprechauns, swordfighting, beer, and Irish food (?!), we are going for none of these reasons. We're going to see Gaelic Storm, one of our favorite bands. We saw them last September at the Ford Amphitheatre and will happily go out of our way to see them live again. They're just that good. The music is brilliant and the act is highly entertaining. Forget what you think you know about Irish Music -- their sound broke the mold. And that's why you should get off yer arses and come with us.

I'm commenting!!! It was great to see you all this weekend! :) Hope you had fun in Irvine!

See, I always knew Alissa was cool. Take note, world, the internet goes both ways!

Thanks, Alissa. It was great to see you, too, and we had a blast in Irvine. It was a bit of a freak show --- lots of kilts, beards, swords, and even a large contingent of Civil War reenactors (for reasons that were never clear). Craig looked smashing in a man-skirt. But the band was great. We will tell all in the coming days. Great to see you have a new site, we'll be checking it out!
