Rage is Good

Probably the most politically-oriented band to go big in decades, or ever, Rage Against the Machine broke up in 2000. Which is ironic, because they had their run during the relatively tranquil and prosperous 1990s. Morello, Wilk and Commeford have gone on to form Audioslave, but where has Zack's rage been all these years?

Well, they're going to reunite for one big night at Coachella, and thanks to the Lara Blog for making us aware. I'll be interested to see just how it plays out. Rage's music is a bit harder-hitting than, say, the Dixie Chicks or Neil Young.

Here's one of their better videos from a song on their last album, "Sleep Now in the Fire." It's actually quite brilliant. And yes, that's Michael Moore, who directed it, being hauled off by the cops.

Romance and True-Crime TV for V-Day

Valentine's Day rapidly approaches, and what better way to celebrate it than with the touching story of Peter and Rinette?

They were a happy couple who seemed to have it all. Money, good careers, house in Tahoe. A favorite romantic spot that boasted a great view of the Reno lights. . . and a 1,000 ft sheer vertical drop.

Rinette was killed instantly when their brand-new F-150 plunged to the bottom of the rocky hillside; Peter survived, near the top. It seemed he had been "miraculously" thrown out of the vehicle as it blasted through the heavy guardrail. He blamed brake failure.

But a few months later, after the insurance settlements came in, he bought an identical new F-150.

"Over the Edge" premieres Wed. night at 10ET on Court TV. . .
