On boats and bridges...
It has been a busy few weeks, and my time here is coming to an end. I head back to LA two weeks from tomorrow. Its hard to believe that it has been nearly three months. For the past few weeks I have been spending a lot of time with hundreds of background on the Ferry and a bunch of stunt drivers on the bridge. We finished all of our work on the ferry this past week and celebrated on Sunday by blowing it up. Here are a few pics from the past few weeks (I can't post the explosion just yet..for legal reasons..)

Jamie came out to visit at the end of Liz's time here. I got lucky and had an extra day off added to the schedule during the visit, so we had some time to hang out. Jamie and Liz got a day to explore the French Quarter, and the next day we all drove down to the Lower 9th Ward; which though it has been cleaned up a bit, is still unbelievable to see how much destruction happened there after the storm. That night we met up with Basil, Trap, and Michelle for dinner at K-Paul's and had one of the best meals I've had here.

Anyway, its back to the bridge tomorrow, so I'm heading off to bed. More to come soon.
